Holmes Billing Solutions was founded in June 2021 by Shalonda P. Holmes, a healthcare revenue cycle professional with more than 19 years of experience in medical billing, coding, and revenue cycle operations.

Since beginning her career in 2007, Shalonda has worked across multiple areas of healthcare revenue cycle management including coding, billing, auditing, and operational leadership. Her experience spans professional services, outpatient environments, and complex healthcare systems, giving her a comprehensive understanding of how healthcare organizations generate, manage, and protect revenue.

Through Holmes Billing Solutions, Shalonda partners with private practices seeking stronger revenue cycle performance. Her work focuses on helping practices improve billing workflows, reduce claim denials, strengthen coding accuracy, and implement processes that support consistent and predictable cash flow.

Shalonda holds both a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a Master’s Degree in Health Administration with a concentration in Health Informatics, combining healthcare operational knowledge with strong business and financial management principles.

She also maintains several nationally recognized certifications:

• AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC)

• HFMA Certified Specialist – Physician Practice Management (CSPPM)

• AHIMA Approved ICD-10-CM/PCS Instructor
